Services:

Doing things right from the start to prevent problems is always ideal, so plan to get your puppy or young dog off to an excellent start with professional expertise as soon as possible. If issues have already cropped up, don’t hesitate to contact me. I have experience with reactivity, resource guarding, stranger danger, dogs who prefer to run off rather than recall, separation anxiety, etc. I like to offer dog training with a healthy dose of stress relief! While starting the training process can seem overwhelming at first, I have years of experience breaking things down into manageable pieces so that you integrate training into your day to day life with your dog rather than taking on another full time job.

Private lessons

Private lessons are my favorite way to train because I can customize the approach to the needs of each dog and handler team. I pride myself on a real world approach to training and am exceptionally results-oriented.

Lessons take place in a combination of clients’ homes, yards, neighborhoods, and other locations as indicated. I have done lessons in all kinds of places: hiking trails, the beach, parks, busy downtown areas, at vet visits, in dog friendly stores, in cars to work on car manners, etc.

Regardless of the age of your dog, the behavioral concerns you’re dealing with, and your training goals, private lessons are an excellent choice so that you have the undivided attention of an expert focused solely on giving you the instruction you need to address your goals with your dog.

Pricing will be determined on a case by case basis. I will factor in your dog’s age, any behavioral challenges and specific goals, the equipment we will be using, and travel time.

Zoom Consultations

$75/hour, $40/half hour

Video chats can be a constructive and cost-effective way for us to work together.

I may suggest a Zoom session as an evaluation or to solve a problem.

Group Drop In Classes

$15-25 per dog depending upon location

These classes are my approach to continuing education for dogs who have completed an adult foundation program. Owners who would like to keep practicing skills around distractions and gaining new skills over time get so much out of this group format! I find that many owners thrive on the accountability of having a weekly activity with their dog, though there is no commitment to participate in these classes. This is how my students have prepared for CGC and therapy dog testing over the years with excellent results!

Check out my Facebook and Instagram pages to see photos and videos from these class. Classes vary from indoors at a training facility in Hooksett to outdoors on trails, in busy downtown areas, and in local parks, etc. Classes are posted in a private Facebook group I maintain for my students.

Board and Train

I offer a limited amount of board and train throughout the year as my schedule permits. In general, I prefer the results of working directly with owners to train their dog-less is lost in translation! However, there are cases in which it makes sense to have me front load the training process directly. It has also been highly effective for a dog to stay with me for a tune up following completion of private lessons. Feel free to inquire if board and train is something you are considering.
